A new way to earn!
We are pleased to announce that with effect from 1st May 2012, the Star Points rewards scheme for Dialog Mobiles will be revised.
With the new Star Points rewards scheme, a customer with a regular connection can earn 1.5% of Star Points based on their Dialog Mobile usage.
The percentage of points would be awarded based on a loyalty category. Customers would be given points according to the below table.

Please see the below example for a Star Only regular Customer, the revised Star Points scheme would be awarded as stated below:

Points will be awarded at the end of the month and you can check your balance via SMS or by dialing #141#
Time taken to award points
Points would be awarded monthly:
Prepaid – Within 15 days during the following month
Postpaid – Within 10 days during the bill run

How to earn with Star Points Merchants
- You can earn Star Points from any Star Points Merchant and Dialog.
- Ask your Merchant for Star Points when you make a purchase.
- Give your mobile number to your merchant.
- You will receive a SMS receipt for the transaction.
- Check the details of the SMS receipt and confirm with your merchant.
- You can earn Star Points for all transactions above Rs. 100/=.
How to check balance
- Dial #141# and select option 1
- Type Star <space> points and send to 141
- Dial 141 and select option 2

Dialog Bill Payment
SMS : Type star pay amount to be redeemed and SMS it to 141
Eg. To redeem 500 points type star pay 500 and SMS to 141
Through 141 : Call 141 Select option 2 to redeem
Other purchases
- You can request to redeem your Star Points at any Star Points Merchant.
- Give your mobile number to the merchant and tell the number of Points to be redeemed.
- You will receive an authentication code via SMS.
- Give the Authentication Code to your merchant to complete the transaction.
- You will receive a SMS receipt for the redemption.
- Check the details of your receipt and confirm with your merchant
How to Transfer or Donate Points
Mobile to Mobile
To successfully transfer points, both numbers should be under the same NIC or BRC. Please dial #141# and select option 4.
Transfer HSBC Rewards Points to Star Points or vice versa
Convert Star Points to FlySmiLes
Type FLY FlySmiLes membership number amount and send to 141. The minimum transfer amount is 1000 points.
