Sri Lanka’s largest mobile based rewards network, Star Points, won the Best Loyalty and Retention Campaign award at the 6th Annual Prepaid Mobile Summit award ceremony held in Bangkok in January 2011. Hosted by Telecom IQ, a global business conference and events promoter, the Prepaid Excellence Awards have been established to recognize mobile based prepaid campaigns and services that demonstrate true global best practices.
Dialog Axiata’s Star Points is fully mobile based and affords all of Dialog’s 7 million customers to earn and spend Star Points with 400 plus partner merchants and 20,000 outlets island wide. Since its inception, Star Points has offered users a host of value additions including USSD based support functions and the opportunity to exchange Points with other rewards networks in the country.
